When is the best time to exercise – morning, midday or evening? Well, each time has its advantages.
Many dedicated athletes prefer working out in the morning. You know it’s done and you do not have to worry whether you can find time later. It can also set you up for the day, giving you an energy boost and a feeling of well being which helps you cope with work and stress which is now part of every ones life.
Many people experience an energy lag after lunch, around 3.00pm. It is often due to the body’s natural rhythms. Working out at midday can often help raise energy levels that continue to rise for the rest of the afternoon. But don’t skip lunch.
This can be a good time for the body. The airways to the lungs are more open, the muscles are stronger due to high body temperatures and flexibility is high. It can also give you an energy boost after a tiring day. You just need to have a little more motivation and prevent yourself settling down in front of the TV when you come in from work.
So, when is the best time to exercise, simple; it is whichever time works best for you.
